EOA – European Outsourcing Association

De EOA is een pan-europese associatie die bestaat uit een 7-tal landelijke onafhankelijke outsource organisaties zoals het Platform Outsourcing Nederland en heeft als gezamenlijke doelstelling het optimaliseren van effectieve IT en business process outsourcing door:

• het promoten van best practices, dienstverlening en innovatie in de toepassing en ontwikkeling van outsourcing
• het lobbyen bij nationale overheden, toezichthouders binnen de sector en de EU over zaken die het collectieve belang betreffen van de leden
• het leveren van informatie over marktontwikkelingen aan haar leden (benchmarking, standaardcontracten, marktonderzoek, etc.)
• het communiceren van de voordelen en “lessons learnt” van outsourcing ( onshore en offshore)

De leden van EOA zijn Europese bedrijven die hebben uitbesteed (of staan op het punt om uit te besteden) van belangrijke bedrijfsprocessen of infrastructuur, maar ook de leveranciers, en( juridische) adviseurs die de industrie te ondersteunen.

Jaarlijks organiseert de EOA een Europees event, waar lezingen plaats vinden over de laatste innovaties, trends en ontwikkelingen in de Europese outsource markt. Tijdens dit event worden ook de EOA Awards bekend gemaakt in een aantal categorieën. In 2013 vindt dit evenement plaats in Amsterdam. Zie hier voor meer informatie.
